Online interviews
- These are not technically interviews

- The recruiter are just gonna scroll. They won’t get tired scrolling. So put as many keywords as possible.
- Many companies have like a crawler that searches for these keywords. This is how some send out recruiting emails
Career fair interviews
- These too are not technically interviews. These are the interactions you have with recruiters in fairs and other career events
- When talking to someone please have a clear objective about what you want to get out of the interaction
- Dont ask stuff that can be found easily by googling
How you made them feel is the most important
- Lead with a joke or be passionate and personable
- Prepare different pitches for different companies
Actual interviews
- Know the expectation of the interviewer
- During a Phone screen interview the recruiter just wants to know your interests and stuff. They are not highly technical in nature
- Video interview with the team or a hiring manager is going to be technical

- Have something extremely personal instead of platitudes
